I haven't been trying too many new recipes lately, but we've got some missionary friends coming to visit. I don't really know what this dessert is called, but my Mom made this recently. Here's my version.
Strawberry Blueberry Angel Food Delight
*8oz pkg light cream cheese (softened)
*large tub of cool-whip (16oz)
*pkg angel food cake (i think it's 10oz)
*container of strawberry glaze (found next to the strawberries at the grocery)
*1 quart strawberries sliced
*1 pint of blueberries
*1 cup powdered sugar
1. Mix the softened cream cheese, sugar, and all but enough cool-whip to put on top of the dessert at the end.
2. Mix the strawberries with the glaze
3. Crumble the cake and layer cake, cream cheese mixture, strawberry glaze and blueberries then repeat finishing with cool-whip and strawberries/blueberries to garnish.
This makes a large amount by the way!
