(She wasn't afraid of the water at all! She just kicked and splashed.)
More updates from this month:
* Naomi is walking some, but still prefers crawling (she's faster that way).
*She is getting a lot better with the sippy cup and loves to feed herself cheerios. We gave her a few green beans and she seemed to like them as well, but they are harder to pick up. She likes to "pretend" like she is drinking out of a real cup even when there is nothing it in. She just smacks her lips and smiles like she is such a big girl. She also likes to sit beside me on the couch and eat if I am eating. One day I let her take "bites" of my apple and she loved it.

(I tried to teach her to blow bubbles in the water and she wasn't afraid to put her face in, but she did drink some of the water :))
*Naomi loves music and dances (by bouncing up and down or swaying back and forth) anytime that she hears music. She tries to even sing sometimes.
*She learns well by music too. My mom teaches preschool music so she is always singing Naomi little songs and taught her one that says "Clap, Clap, Clap your hands..." Well, every time she hears that song she claps her hands (even if we don't). Yesterday she even clapped when we said the word clap! She is learning so much these days.

(She loved it when I put her on her back to "float" around the pool like this).
*Naomi waves and says bye-bye. She also says "da-da" a lot. If I say "Say mama" she will almost always say "da-da". Every once in a while she says ma-ma.
*Her hair is getting really thick and has some wave to it. She definitely gets that from her daddy because my hair is so thin and straight.

*Her favorite thing to do is go out shopping or to Walmart or something. She loves to ride in the cart and squeals everytime she sees another baby or kid.
*She also likes to play peek-a-boo. She will take her little blankie and cover her face and wait for you to say, "where's Naomi". It's pretty cute.

*She really is a happy baby and is so easy to take care of these days (other than the fact that she is super fast and gets into everything she sees :)) We are so grateful for our healthy growing baby girl.
Wow! She sounds so grown up! I can't imagine Eliana doing a lot of the things that Naomi is doing when she's 10 months old (in Aug). You have a speedy learner! And she has great parents:)
