Naomi is 7 months!

Another month has come and gone. Naomi is so much fun these days. We feel like she is more of a big girl now than a baby. What have you been up to this month Naomi?

*You are no longer nursing. It was a hard decision for mommy, but we feel like it's been best for both of us. So now you take 4 bottles a day (anywhere from 4-8oz) and eat solids 3x a day. You definitely prefer solids to milk (even when nursing you wouldn't nurse very much). You are too active to want to take a bottle.

*New foods this month include: peas, green beans (which you really like), peaches, blueberries (mixed with applesauce), and 8 grain cereal with yogurt (you really like this). You eat about 4oz of baby food or cereal with milk at each meal.

*Since you stopped nursing you usually sleep around 11 hours straight! Sometimes you wake up earlier but we usually don't have to feed you. Bedtime is 7:30 or 8pm and you usually wake up around 7am.

*Most days you take 2 naps now. But some days you still need a short catnap around 5pm.

*You are pretty much crawling now. You crawl a few feet and then go to your belly and then crawl again. You like shoes and will "chase" after mommy's shoes. We have to watch you closely now because you will quickly get into things.

*You can pull up in your crib and love to be "standing".

*Your personality is really starting to come out. You love to look up at us and smile really big like in this picture.

*You are babbling a lot again now. Saying da-da, ba-ba, la-la. You squeal in excitment a lot too.

*Apparently you can't really roll over from your back to your tummy. You've done it before, but now if you get on your back you cry and want us to turn you over. You love being on your tummy and playing.

*You do not like to be left alone to play as much now.

*You had almost stopped using your pacy, but now you really like it again.

*You enjoy being out and seeing people and going outside. You are much easier for mommy to take out these days!

I have to say I think this is my favorite stage yet. Although I'm sure next month will be even more fun. Thank you God for our Naomi. We love you.
