We had a good first Christmas with Naomi...busy, but good. We know we soon may not be with family on holidays so we are grateful for the many gatherings. I don't have pictures from all our 'get-togethers', but here's a few of the hundreds of pictures we took. I loved putting all the bows on Naomi :)

Naomi was a good sport for our 'photo shoot'. She was just too cute in her Christmas dress. (Notice one shoe is off in this picture...shoes are hard to fit Naomi apparently she has small feet either that or she's just a baby and shoes don't fit babies very well).

Naomi really liked this bell that Grammy put on her present. We tried to get her to open her presents. She didn't know what was going on, but loved all the attention she got!

We celebrated Christmas Eve with Kari's family. Naomi's hands pretty much stayed in her mouth this Christmas due to teething.

I just love this picture with Grammy and Poppy!

On Christmas Day we go to Kari's grandparents (my Mom's parents). There are about 30 of us and it's a little overwhelming at times, but it's pretty amazing that everyone lives in our hometown (except for three of my cousins who are away at college, but come home frequently) and we are able to get together pretty often. This Christmas my mom and I worked on a photo book for my grandparents taking some of their old pictures and putting them to a story of their life together. It turned out well and I think they really liked it.

Here are my grandparents, their daughters, their grandchildren, and great-grand child (Naomi :)) Now add in all the spouses and some extended family and as you can see it's a rather large gathering.

The day after Christmas we traveled to Nashville, TN to visit Kari's Dad's parents. Here's Naomi with Great Mammaw Bobbie & Papaw, and Uncle Kaleb

Great Mammaw Bobbie got Naomi this cute little doll for Christmas. She seemed to really like to look at it. She loves kids so I wonder if she thinks it looks like a little person. The doll even looks like her with brown hair and blue eyes :)
It was a Merry Christmas indeed. We look forward to Christmases to come when we can teach Naomi about Jesus and the importance of this special day.
